We met Howard at Blue Lake and enjoyed traveling through Europe with him on a band tour. Howard was also a valued member of our German Band, Ein Prosit. He was an excellent clarinet player and we know music gave him much pleasure. Rest in Peace Howard.

I met Howard on one of the Windiana Tours to China and had the pleasure of playing with him in groups many times after that. He was a joy to be around and a wonderful musician. I was saddened to hear of his loss, but take comfort in knowing he is at peace with our Lord and Savior. My deepest sympathies to Howard’s entire family and know that his many friends and colleagues share in your loss of such a fine man. He will be missed.
I'm so sorry for your loss. I don't know if we have met but my Daughter Alisha Schimm talked of Howard many times. It was a pleasure to hear Howard play clarinet at Christmas.
