Mr. Howard C. Sipple's Obituary
Mr. Howard C. Sipple, 91, passed away Friday, December 9, 2022, in Muskegon. He was born July 30, 1931, to Carl W. and Bessie (Wilmot) Sipple in Muskegon and was a lifelong resident of this area. On December 4, 1955, he married Martha Hanks in New Iberia, LA, and she preceded him in death on November 26, 2014. He was also preceded in death by a son Donald R. Sipple, his parents, his brother Carl, and his sister Dorothy Zeedyk. Survivors include five children: Lawrence Sipple, Brian (Jackie) Sipple, Edward (Dawn) Sipple, Patti (Joe) Dempsey, Sue M. Sipple; six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, four step-great-grandchildren. Howard was a United States Air Force veteran, he was stationed in Japan and served during the Korean War Conflict. Howard worked at S.D.Warren for 39 years before retiring in 1994. He enjoyed bowling, classic cars, fishing, camping but most of all he loved his family. The funeral service for Howard will be Friday, December 16, at 11:00 AM at The Walburn Chapel of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services, 1547 W. Sherman Blvd., Muskegon, MI 49441. Visitation will be Thursday evening, December 15, from 5-8 PM, also at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Lakeside Cemetery. Contributions in memory of Mr. Sipple may be made to the American Cancer Society.
