Howard H. Meyers, Sr.'s Obituary
Mr. Howard H. Meyers, Sr. “Lupie”, age 71, passed away early Friday morning, December 4, 2009. He was born September 8, 1938 to William and Delores (Gram) Meyers in Muskegon, and was a life resident. Howard worked at Brunswick for 46 years before retiring, and was affiliated with Christ Community Congregational Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working in his yard. Mr. Meyers married Darlene Shaffer on December 31, 1983, and she preceded him in death on March 16, 2007. SURVIVORS include 4 children, Kellie (Chris) Hysell of Muskegon, Delores Overly of Moody, TX, Howard “Jim” (Carie) Meyers, Jr. of Shelby, Darren Meyers of Waco, TX; 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; his very special friend, Larry Messenger; and his beloved dogs, Taz and Kiwi. He was also preceded in death by 1 brother, Bud Meyers; 2 sisters, Bertine Fowler and Sandy Day. SERVICES will be 11:00 AM Tuesday at
