Hubert E. Williams' Obituary
Hubert E. Williams, age 69, passed away Friday May 19, 2023, at home in Spring Lake, MI, after losing his fight with cancer. Hubert was born October 2, 1953, in Lyons, Mississippi to L.H and Dorothy Williams. He was the fourth of twelve children. He received his education at Aggie High School in Clarksdale, MS. Hubert later moved to Detroit Michigan in the early 70’s. He met and married Bobbie L. Burns. To this union three children were born. During this time, he was employed at Redding Die for over 20 years. In 2010, Hubert married Sharon M. Murphy and to this union, he wholeheartedly received her two children into his life. While residing in Auburndale, Florida Hubert and Sharon owned and operated E&E Detail for over 10 years. Hubert enjoyed working on cars, traveling, going to casinos, but most of all being with his family and close friends. Hubert will be remembered and missed by his wife, Sharon; his children: Hubert J. Williams (Christie), Marcus C. Williams (Vanessa), Brittany E. (Quintin) Conley, Leah M. Hansen, and Patrick R. Murphy (Jessica); thirteen grandchildren: Quordrece, Azhia, Dominic, Hubert Jr, Jalen, Jada, Ja’Marcus, Ja’Miyah, Quintin Jr, Marques, Day’Mar, Kwame’, and Sloane; nine siblings: Mable (M.C.) Fulton of Detroit, MI, Jimmy (Patricia) Williams, Doris (Henry) Evans, Frankie (Vanda) Williams, Bobbie Redd, Fannie (Larry) Williams, Bobby J. (Venitrice/Nisa) Williams, Christine (Calvin) Jones, and Melvin Williams all of Muskegon, MI; one Aunt, Classie Sanders of Florida; and one Uncle, Tommy Primer of Detroit, MI; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Hubert was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, William and Ida Primer; paternal grandparents, Robert and Maybelle Guice; parents, Dorothy and L.H Williams; grandchildren: Quortez Conley and McKenzie Hansen; brothers: Louis and Billy William; brothers-in-law: William Redd and Jimmie Robertson. SERVICES will be held 1:00 PM Friday, May 26, 2023, at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services, 6291 S. Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444, 231-798-1100).
