I just learned a couple days ago about Hugh's passing, I knew he was sick from the last time he was here in FL. I didn't know Hugh that well, but I did know him thru our art ... he was a member of the Pinellas Park Art Society as well as a couple other art groups. What I do remember about Hugh is that he was always a happy, pleasant man and never had an unkind word about anybody else. He will be missed. May he RIP forever.
I feel beyond blessed to have had an adopted grandpa like Grandpa Hugh in my life 💖 He always had an inappropriate joke up his sleeve that would make everyone at dinner cry of laughter. He had a song for every occasion and was the loudest person to sing me happy birthday. Grandpa Hugh gave me weekly painting lessons starting when I was young, who would have known that art would turn into one of my passions. Grandpa, you are such an inspiration and will be greatly missed. Thank you for constantly loving me, making me laugh and encouraging my artistic abilities. Keep singing in heaven
