Mr. Hugo Hotz's Obituary
Mr. Hugo Hotz, age 84, passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at his home surrounded by his loving family, following a long illness. Hugo was born June 27, 1929 in Muskegon to Hugo Sr. and Mary (Spira) Hotz. Hugo was a member of Lakeside Wesleyan Church. He was employed at S.D. Warren Company for 40 years as a staffing coordinator. Hugo married the former Virginia Peel, the love of his life, on September 6, 1952, and she survives him along with their 7 children, Blair (Suzette) of Grand Rapids, Bradley (Patricia) of Tucson, AZ, Brian, Blaine, and Blake (David Gregersen)of Muskegon, Brent (Ellen) of Grand Rapids, and Mary Beth Hotz of Muskegon; 3 grandchildren, Blair Hotz II of Cleveland, OH, Marissa VanBergen and Michael Hugo VanBergen of Muskegon; 1 brother, Ronald Hotz (Nancy Decker). Hugo was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Randy. A private Memorial Service is set for Sunday, July 7, with Pastor Z. Abiade officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Muskegon Rescue Mission.
