Ida Dolislager's Obituary
Mrs. Ida (Kroeze) Dolislager, age 88, went to be with her Lord Sunday morning, January 9, 2005 at a local nursing home. She was born October 1, 1916 to Jacob and Ida (DeWeerdt) Kroeze in Muskegon, and was a life resident. She was a member of First Christian Reformed Church, and for many years was the secretary at Muskegon Christian School. Ida married Gerrit “Gary” Dolislager on June 26, 1970, and he preceded her in death on November 30, 1998. SURVIVORS include 3 step-children, Lois (John) Parker of Dearborn Hts., MI, Ronald (Phyllis) Dolislager of Boynton Beach, FL, Donna (Alan) Johnson of Sonoma, CA; grandchildren, Fredrick (Sue) Dolislager, Thomas (Katrina) Dolislager, Joshua Johnson, Andrew Johnson, Susan Johnson; 4 great-grandchildren, Gerrit Dolislager, Carolina Dolislager, Calvin Dolislager, Kent Dolislager; in-laws, Clarissa Kroeze, Tom (Gertrude) Fogg, Betty Workman, John (Margaret) Dolislager; many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by 4 brothers, George, Peter, Henry, and Albert; 2 sisters, Margaret and Grace. SERVICES will be 1:00 PM Saturday at the First Christian Reformed Church, with Reverend Michael G. Borgert officiating. Burial will take place at Restlawn Cemetery. VISITATION at Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 737 Apple Ave.(231) 726-5210 will be from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Friday. For a more lasting memorial, please consider Muskegon Christian School, or the Reach Out Program at First Christian Reformed Church.
