IdaBelle Volkmann's Obituary
IdaBelle Volkmann, age 99, passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at home surrounded by her family. She was born in Muskegon on July 26, 1924 to Claude and Cynthia (Ward) PicKell and was a life resident of the area. In her free time, IdaBelle found pleasure in reading, sewing, paint by numbers and loved her matching clothes and jewelry. On August 24, 1946 she married William Volkmann and they were married for 56 years before he preceded her in death on September 16, 2002. SURVIVORS include four children, Linda Kemp, Donald (Mary) Volkmann, Scott (Lori) Volkmann, and Rex (Elsa) Volkmann; nine grandchildren; and 20 great grandchildren. IdaBelle was also preceded in death by two brothers, Lawrence PicKell and Donald PicKell; and her son-in-law, Len Kemp in 2019. Private Family Services will be held.
