Ida Frances Schecter's Obituary
Mrs. Ida Frances Schecter, age 86, died Thursday morning, June 7, 2007. She was born June 18, 1920 in Muskegon to Alex and Julia (Kozma) Olah and had been a life resident of the area. Mrs. Schecter worked for Morton Manufacturing and Time Loans prior to retirement. She was a charter member of Westwood Reformed Church where she belonged to the Women’s Fellowship. On January 11, 1947, she married Wayne K. Schecter in Muskegon and he preceded her in death on March 1, 2000. SURVIVORS include four children, Duane (Susan) Schecter of Muskegon, Roger (Kathleen) Schecter of N. Muskegon, Judy Mulder of Grand Haven, Louann (Ron) Goodin of Brecksville, OH; nine grandchildren, Tracy (Paul) Hofmann, Julia (Scott) Witte, Matthew (Samantha) Mulder, Christopher (Jennifer) Schecter, Mark and Emilia Mulder, Bradley Schecter, Reid and Blake Goodin; five great-grandchildren; and one sister, Eleanor Olah of Daytona Beach, FL. She was also preceded in death by her parents and a brother, William Olah. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 1:00 PM Monday at Westwood Reformed Church with Rev. David Willerup officiating. Burial will be in Mona View Cemetery. VISITATION with the family will be from 4-6 PM Sunday at
