Ila Jeanne Snoeyink's Obituary
Ila Jeanne Snoeyink age 90 of Ravenna, MI died Monday, September 26, 2022 at Crockery Creek Elder Care.
Ila was born on October 14, 1931 in Atlanta, Michigan to the late Harrison and Margaret (McIntyre) McKellar. She married John August 3, 1957 in Atlanta, MI. She was very dedicated to her church and church family of St. Andrews Episcopal Church. She served on the Vestry for many years. She was a member of the Eastern Stars longstanding and Daughters of the King. She fiercely loved her family and dear friends.
Ila is survived by 1 Son and Daughter in-law: Mark and Dawn Snoeyink of Cedar Springs, MI. 1 Daughter and Son in-law: Marie "Sue" and Jack Cunningham of Ravenna, Michigan. 5 Grandchildren: Andrew (Samantha) Snoeyink, Zachary Snoeyink, Amy (Kirk) Geldersma, Becky (Anthony) Izzo & Jasper Cunningham. Great Grandchildren: Eli and Lucy Snoeyink, Calihan and Arbor Ila Geldersma, Everly and Ruthie J. Izzo. Sister in-law: Hattie Peterson and several nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Husband John, Siblings: Jack McKellar, Martha (Adolph) Kalisch, Angus (Louise) McKellar and Edna (Russell) Thompson.
A Memorial Service will be conducted on Thursday, November 3, 2022 at St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Grand Rapids, MI 1025 3 Mile Road Grand Rapids, MI 49506. 11:00am. The family will greet friends 1 hour prior to the service.
