Mrs. Ilse C. Bomers' Obituary
Mrs. Ilse C. Bomers, 93, passed away Monday evening, May 28, 2018. She was born July 31, 1924, to E. Otto and Marie (Kuklei) Hager in Germany and has lived in the Muskegon area for most of her life. She was a lifetime member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Mrs. Bomers was a caring person, loved being with her family, working in her yard and traveling. On October 23, 1948, she married Clarence Bomers, who preceded her in death in 1983. SURVIVORS include 2 daughters: Cheryl (Roy) Johnson, Diane (Gregory) Umstead; 6 grandchildren: Michelle Johnson, Scott Johnson, Elizabeth Umstead, Adam Umstead, John (Jennifer) Hesling, Megan (Nicholas) Madole; 3 great-grandchildren: Emma and Kaylee Hesling, Connor Madole; and sister-in-law: Betty Hager. She was also preceded in death by her father and mother; daughter: Donna Hesling; brother: Oswald Hager; and sister: Gerda Settergren. The MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at 10 am, Saturday, June 16, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 3225 Roosevelt Rd., Muskegon, 49441. VISITATION will be 1 hour prior to the service.
