Inge Engle, age 93, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, in Muskegon, MI. She was born to Wilhelm and Anna (Charlotte) Wartenpfuhl on December 20, 1932, in Zweibrucken, Germany. Inge enjoyed crocheting, knitting and most of all family. She is survived in death by her children: Martin “Willy” (Jane) Engle, Susie (Tim) Mashburn, Margaret “Peggy” (Kurt) VanderWagen along with many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband: Frederick J. Engle and infant son: Peter Engle. There will be a private family service and burial. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Harbor Hospice, 1050 W. Western Ave. Suite 400, Muskegon, MI. 49441, and The Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N.
