My name is Ulrich Theilacker (*1971), son of Gunta Theilacker (*1943 Schulze-Breustedt) , grandson of Eva Schulze-Breustedt (born Kutscher) - great grandson of Wilhelm Kutscher. From there down the family tree we must be one family (Doehner Family) - that's it for ancestry acrobatics. Inge had been in touch with my mother Gunta and set me up for Blue Lake Fine Arts camp in the 1980's , thus advancing my career as a trombonist (short-lived). I stayed at the Boelkins family place in Spring Lake MI, for a night before Blue Lake (14 years old) - and I was introduced to the concept of fluorid in the drinking water - which really makes sense now that I read that Bob was a dentist. It sometimes takes large parts of the the life to understand the correlations.
I must have talked to the next Boelkins generation because I remember the challenge of not really being able to fall back to German. I am really sorry about your loss - I found the obituary because I am looking through the adress book of my mother Gunta, who passed away on the 29th of Dec. 2024. Her service will be on February 21st. But I will also be praying for Inge and be with you on Feb 22nd. It is a small world - especially with people like Inge filling it.
