Irene V. Grant's Obituary
Irene V. Grant, age 87, passed away peacefully Saturday, November 12, 2022. She was born on February 14, 1935, to Edward and Amy (Hibbs) Zufelt in Muskegon, MI and has been a lifelong resident. On August 21, 1954, she married the love of her life, Ted Grant in Muskegon. Together they cherished 66 years full of love and laughter. In her earlier years, she enjoyed playing cards, relaxing by the lake and keeping busy with yard work. Most days, she enjoyed spending her time reading or with her family and friends. She will truly be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her 5 children, Steven (Ann) Grant, Kirk Grant, Tracie Vanderstelt, Rennae (Dan) Juergens, and Ted (Ana) Grant; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Ted Grant; son, Kevin Grant; 4 brothers, Dale Zufelt, Darwin Zufelt, Bob Zufelt and Kenneth Hibbs; and son-in-law, Bob Vanderstelt. In accordance to Irene’s wishes, no funeral service will be held. Irene will be laid to rest with Ted at Sunrise Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
