Irene D. Eastman (Willis)'s Obituary
Mrs. Irene D. (Willis) Eastman, age 78, died early Thursday morning, March 18, 2004. She was born December 20, 1925 in Central Lake, MI to Leo and Dorothy (Foulsom) Marshall. Mrs. Eastman lived in Lansing for 29 years, before moving to the Muskegon area in 1983. She attended First Baptist Church and had been a volunteer with Hospice and the Red Cross. On January 27, 1962, she married Charles W. Willis, Sr. in Lansing, and he preceded her in death on July 1, 1984. She then married James G. Eastman on May 26, 1989 in Montague, and he survives her along with 5 children; Nancy (Frank) Johnson, Charles (Sandra) Willis, Jr., Harold (Deborah) Willis, all of Muskegon, David Willis of Fruitport, Capt. James (Evelyn) Eastman of Montague; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; step-brother, Homer (Vernamae) Marshall of Muskegon; and a step-sister, Pauline Loper of Muskegon.
