Irene E. Carroll's Obituary
Mrs. Irene E. Carroll, age 75, passed away at home Thursday morning following a short illness. Irene was born on October 17, 1934 to Olaf and Bertha (Lundgren) Nelson. She was a graduate of Muskegon H.S. and was employed at Sealed Power Hy-Lift Division. for 28 yrs, retiring in 1992. Irene enjoyed cross stitching, crocheting, gardening and was a member of the Michigan Blue Bird Society. On October 5, 1973 she married Charles P. Carroll and he survives along with: step-children, Darwin (Carla) Carroll of Reed City, Laurie (Rick) Johnson of Reed City, Sue (Mark) Frutchey of Norton Shores and Tom (Deb) Carroll of West Olive; one brother, Maurice Nelson of Tustin, MI; 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: parents; a son Gary in 2005; daughter, Kathryn Collins in 2009 and sister, Linda Heiss. The funeral service will be held at:
