Irene Hedwig Anthony (Rebo)'s Obituary
Mrs. Irene Hedwig (Rebo) Anthony, age 100, died Sunday evening, February 15, 2009 at her residence. She was born August 16, 1908 in Cleveland, OH; and studied nursing and midwifery in both Milwaukee and Chicago. She then resided in Scott, AR from 1927 -2000, where she provided midwife services for over fifty years. She was an active member of All Souls Church of Scotts, AR. She was married Dr. Allen D. Rebo and he preceded her in death in 1945. She then married Roman Mark Anthony on January 19, 1950 and he preceded her in death in 1997. In 2000, Irene was invited to Michigan by her niece, Sabina (Tom) Freeman, who survives her along with their children, Boyd and Kim; and great-great niece and nephew, Aubrey and Brock. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at Northcrest Living Centre 3PM Friday, February 20, 2009 with Pastor Bill Uetricht officiating.
