Iris Adelaide Hoffman's Obituary
Mrs. Iris A. Hoffman, age 91, passed away Thursday, February 24, 2011 at Brookhaven Medical Care Facility. She was born March 2, 1919 in Muskegon to Frank M. and Edith (Freckmann) Douglas. She married Charles J. Hoffman, Sr., who preceded her in death in 1986. Iris was a homemaker who enjoyed flower gardening, ceramics and quilting. She is survived by her son, Charles J. Hoffman, Jr. of Muskegon; 1 granddaughter, Renee’ (Bill) Kooi; her great-grandson, Alex Kooi and a half-sister, Donna (Ronald) Burkall of Muskegon. She was also preceded in death by her parents and daughter-in-law, Joan Hoffman. In accordance with her wishes, there will be no service or visitation.
