Irma (Flores) Mendiola's Obituary
Ms. Irma (Flores) Mendiola, age 50, passed away Sunday, December 2, 2007 at a local hospital. She was born May 21, 1957 in Corpus Chrisi, TX, to Camilo and Juanita (Manreque) Flores and lived in the Muskegon area most of her life. She was married to Roberto Mendiola and he preceded her in death in 1987. Irma was currently employed as a laundry attendant for Sara Lee Foods the past 27 years. She was a member of St. Jean’s Catholic Church. SURVIVORS include 4 sons, Jesus (Kelly) Flores, Herman Mendiola, Roberto Mendiola, Frankie Hilliard; 10 grandchildren, Dominic Eli, Jesus, Brianna, Dionasio, Macario, Nazalia, Roberto, Arianna, Manrico; 3 brothers, Philipe (Tammy) Flores, Marcos (Paula) Flores, Fernando (Heidi) Flores; boyfriend, Miguel Vasquez; and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents, and 1 brother, Raynando Flores. A FUNERAL LITURGY will be celebrated 1:00 PM Thursday, December 6, 2007 at St. Jean’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Fr. Thomas Page presiding. INTERMENT will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery. VISITATION will be held 2-4 and 6-8 PM Wednesday at The Sytsema Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc., 737 Apple Avenue, (231) 726-5210. The Rosary will be prayed at 6:00 PM Wednesday.
