Isabelle I. Burns 's Obituary
Isabelle I. Burns, age 89, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, May 27, 2020. She was born on October 28, 1930 to Leo and Irene (Shook) Purvis in Grayling, MI. Isabelle married O'Neal Burns on August 18, 1948, and they were married for 56 years. Isabelle and O'Neal moved to Idaho in 1967 and she worked as a Personnel Manager for many years at Columbia Lighting in Spokane, Washington. After retiring she moved back to Michigan to be near family. She is survived by her daughters, Patricia (Robert) Green, Sandra Routt, Barbara Argetsinger; 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, O’Neal Burns; son, Gerald Burns, son-in-laws, Donald Routt, and David Argetsinger. A LIMITED SIZE VISITATION will take place from 10:00 – 11:30 AM on Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at The Spring Lake Chapel of The Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 213 E. Savidge St. Spring Lake, MI, 231-798-1100. Private family burial will take place in Fruitport Pine Hill Cemetery.
