Mr. Isidore “Ike†J. Helsen, age 86 of Ravenna, passed away peacefully Friday, September 25, 2009 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Ike was born on July 16, 1923 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to the late Alfonse and Lou Read Obituary

Dorothy and all the family, I will miss Ike a lot. I have a lot of fond memories of Ike when I was young and it has been great to talk to him every week this summer. The comforting thought I have it that my Dad (Rich) and Jake must have been waiting at the gates with fishing poles in hand. The fishing boat is now full with the three buddies, again.
