Isla Mae Gibson's Obituary
Isla Mae Gibson, precious daughter of Micah Gibson and Cianna Nickett, was born into this world still, on Sunday, May 31, 2026. While growing safely in her mother’s womb, Isla loved being read to and was especially active at night when Mom was trying to sleep. She was a little camera-shy, often giving the ultrasound technicians a challenge as they tried to capture a clear picture of her sweet face. Isla’s family was blessed to spend two precious days with her at the hospital, holding her close, reading to her, placing beautiful pink bows in her hair, and surrounding her with love. Though her time here was far too brief, the memories made during those cherished moments will be treasured forever and held close in the hearts of all who loved her. Isla will forever be loved and remembered by her parents, Micah Gibson and Cianna Nickett; grandparents, Pete and Krista Gibson, Ann and Joel Lumbert, and Robert Nickett; great-grandparents, Ken and Linda Doctor, Dawn Baker, Tina Gibson, Charlotte Gibson, Belinda Lumbert, and Shirley Davis; aunts and uncles, Carter (Grace) Gibson, Caden Gibson, Ryder Gibson, Mason Gibson, Aubrey Gibson, Wendy Nickett, Amber Nickett, and Wyatt Lumbert; cousins, Eli, Isaiah, Jeremiah, and Ezra; and many loving extended family members. She was preceded in death by her great-grandpas, Donald Gibson and Louis Baker; and uncle, Matthew Nickett. Isla’s Funeral Service will be held 11:00 AM Monday, June 8, 2026 at Shores Community Church, 3800 Lake Harbor Road, Norton Shores, MI 49441. Isla will be laid to rest in Lake Forest Cemetery, next to her dear cousin, Haven Swab, in Grand Haven, Michigan.
