Mrs. Ivry I. Fielstra's Obituary
Mrs. Ivry I. Fielstra, 100, passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2020 in Muskegon. She was born July 17, 1920 to Charles and Celina (Whayley) VanNorman in Onaway, MI and lived in Texas for a few years before coming to Muskegon. She attended Friendship Wesleyan Church and was a past-president of the Fruitport Eagles Ladies Auxiliary. She married Enoch Fielstra on March 15, 1974 and he preceded her in death on November 17, 2019. Survivors include 8 children: Deborah L. Larabee, Diana (John) Walkendorf, Roger Fielstra, Vicky J. (John) Jarrell, Sharlene A. (Eddie) Reis, Darlene B. (Asa) Eastling, Penny (Duane) German, Kelly J. Fielstra; several grand and great-grandchildren; and sister Sarah D. Webster. She was also preceded in death by 6 children: Leon Strait, Ronald Strait, Bonnie Fitzgerald, Ardith Garvey, Edward Strait, and William Strait; siblings: Etta Cummins, Clifford Barrett, Clara Garvey and Doris Zech. Due to current restrictions, private family services will be held with interment in Sunrise Memorial Gardens. Contributions in memory of Mrs. Fielstra may be made to Hospice of Michigan.
