Ivy L. Larrow's Obituary
Mrs. Ivy L. Larrow, age 83, passed away Monday, September 6, 2004 at her home. She was born on March 21, 1921 to Remi and Florida (Laub) VanEeckhoutte in Rockwood, MI. She worked in the Sales Division for Sears for 10 years and was Reeths-Puffer Schools – Central Elementary playground supervisor. Mrs. Larrow had also been the treasurer for 10 years at VFW Don Rea Post #8846. On October 18, 1940 she married Malcolm Larrow in Bowling Green, Ohio. SURVIVORS include husband, Malcolm; 1 daughter, Joanne Marie (Eugene) Hosko of North Muskegon; 2 granddaughters, Dr. Korinne (Bradley) Swain of North Muskegon, and Suzanne Renee (Thomas McNabnay) VanPelt of Whitehall; 1 step-granddaughter, Amanda (Tom) Quinn of Ferndale, MI; 3 great grandchildren, Noah Swain, Emily Swain, and Nicholas McNabnay; 2 brothers, Raymond (Joyce) VanEeckhoutte of Erie, MI and Doyal (Rose) VanEeckhoutte of Florida; 3 sisters, Mary Leah Daune, Alma Kroh, Virginia (Leonard) Rohn, all of Monroe, MI. Mrs. Larrow was preceded in death by 1 sister, Vivian Boberg, and 1 brother Calvin VanEeckhoutte. MEMORIAL SERVICE will be 11 AM Thursday at Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc 737 Apple Ave 231-726-5210 with Rev. John Brown officiating. VISITATION with the family will be 1 hour prior to the service. Military Rites will be under the Auspices of Don Rea VFW Post #8846. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions to American Cancer, Hospice of Muskegon-Oceana, and Meals on Wheels.
