Did he ever tell you this story? Walt and I took our bar exams at the U of M. Back then the fastest way to find out whether we passed was via the newspaper. When the news was published, our names appeared as "Walter Block and Kenneth Brock" I did not know Walt back then, but we certainly got to know each other thereafter! In practice, we usually were on the opposite sides of issues but always got along in a brotherly fashion. Great guy!

Walter and Lana have always been there for the McCroskeys. Walter was there when Jerry died. He was there to mentor Kevin. I learned some of my favorite off-color jokes from this man. And I watched him best 25 year olds in Boot Camp at the Y. It was an honor to know you, my friend.

Walter champion of the little man . Walt spent his life, fighting for justice for the little man. One of my blessings was having Walt as my friend. We enjoyed taking pictures together,training dogs, and fishing I will miss his friendship

Our sincere condolences to Lana and the entire family. Walt was known, respected and loved by the entire Lakeshore Pickleball Club. While he was always very competitive, we loved playing with and against him more because he never took the game that seriously. He played with a sense of humor. We will all miss him, but will never forget him.
