Jack S. Keglovitz's Obituary
Jack S. Keglovitz, age 86, passed away on Wednesday, June 5, 2019. He was born on March 21, 1933 to Steve and Pearl (Schineldecker) Keglovitz in Muskegon. After graduating from Muskegon Heights High School Jack went on to join the United States Army. During his time in the military he served in Okinawa, Japan. Jack worked for CWC – Textron for 37 years, spending many years as a member of UAW 539 and the last 15 years as a manager. He was a lifetime pilgrim member of the Moose Lodge and proudly served as the governor of the Muskegon Moose Lodge. Jack enjoyed traveling, golfing, bowling, but most of all spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Keglovitz; children, Phyllis (Dale) Scholtens, Steve Keglovitz, James Keglovitz, Joni (Dennis) Murphy; step-children, Jan (Bill) Griffiths, Glenna (Ken) Kedrowicz, Denise (John) Nichols, Debbie (Bill) Carmichael; 19 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Marilyn Sagan; and many other extended family members around the country. He was preceded in death by his parents; former spouses, Esther Keglovitz and Gladys Keglovitz; children, Paul Keglovitz and Patti Jo Keglovitz; grandson, Kevin Storch; and daughter-in-law, Sue Keglovitz. A VISITATION with Jack’s family will take place on Sunday, June 9, 2019 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 S. Harvey St. Norton Shores, MI 49444 (231) 798-1100. A MEMORIAL SERVICE for Jack will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, June 10, 2019 at the Funeral Home with visitation taking place one hour prior to the service start time. Jack will be laid to rest in St. Mary’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jack’ name can be made to either the Little Red House or Senior Resources.
