Jack G. Nummerdor II's Obituary
Jack Gerald Nummerdor II, age 64, loving husband, father, son, brother, special friend, and grandfather, passed away unexpectedly Monday, March 22, 2021. He was born November 26,1956 in Muskegon to Jack and Patricia (Black) Nummerdor. Jack was a 1975 graduate of Fruitport High School and felt great pride in his community. In the early years, Jack worked as a driver for Port City Redi Mix where he started his own business, Nummerdor Concrete Construction, LLC, and operated his business for 28 years. Jack was known as an extremely hard worker and perfectionist in every facet of life. On May 15, 1981, he married the former Laura Egeler in Muskegon and spent 40 wonderful years together. Jack was an avid golfer, golfing in leagues at Eagle Island and Westwind golf courses. He enjoyed going to casinos, hunting, snowmobiling, and going up to his property along the north branch of the Lincoln river to unwind and be with nature. He was also a NASCAR fan as well as a supporter of the local tracks. But most of all, he loved spending time with his family; especially the grandchildren and loved to attend all their extracurricular activities. Jack will be remembered by many as just “a great guy”. The first thought of Jack that comes to everyone's mind is just how hard of a worker that he was. He worked hard at everything he did; his company, his hobbies, and especially loving his family and friends. SURVIVORS include his wife, Laura; 2 children: Jack G. (Megan) Nummerdor III of Norton Shores and Kali (Dean Glenzer) Nummerdor of Eau Claire, WI; 4 grandchildren: Hailee and Jack IV Nummerdor, Ella and Noa Glenzer, and another granddaughter on the way; mother, Patricia Nummerdor of Muskegon; brother, Jody (Michelle) Nummerdor of Fruitport; 2 sisters: Brenda Gonzales of Muskegon and Kerri (Ron) Becklin of Fruitport; many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Jack was preceded in death by his father, Jack Nummerdor, and nephew, Aaron Gonzales. A Celebration of Jack’s Life will be held from 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM Saturday, March 27, 2021 at the Journey Church (5660 S. Quarterline Rd., Muskegon, MI 49444). Masks will be required for entry.
