Mr. Jack E. Rutkowski's Obituary
Mr. Jack E. Rutkowski, 71, passed away Sunday, August 17, at his home. He was born July 13, 1943 in Muskegon, and was a lifelong resident. Jack worked at Standard Automotive Parts for 38 years before retiring. He was a proud resident of Muskegon Heights and enjoyed taking care of his and other properties to make them look nice. He also enjoyed hunting, camping and fishing. On January 13, 1962 Jack married Edith A. Regelin in Grand Haven, and she preceded him in death on October 20, 2008. SURVIVORS include 2 children, Jack (Dora) Rutkowski, Jr., Lisa King, both of Muskegon; 6 grandchildren, Garbriel (fiancée Alison Engle)Rutkowski, Aaron Rutkowski, Sarah Rutkowski, Robbie Hall, Zachary King and Trevor King; 3 great-grandchildren, Adeline, Carter, and Emory; 1 brother, Dale Rutkowski of Muskegon. He was also preceded in death by his mother and father, and 1 brother, Richard Rutkowski. The Funeral Service for Jack will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, August 22, at The Sytsema Chapel of Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc., 737 Apple Ave., Muskegon, 49442, (231) 726-5210, with Rev. Donald Bayne, Jr. officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service. Interment will take place at Norton Cemetery.
