Jack A. Way's Obituary
Jack A. Way, age 89, passed away Sunday, October 14, 2018. He was born December 25, 1928 in Muskegon to Homer and Bessie (Lake) Way. Jack was a U.S. Navy and Air Force Veteran. He worked 27 years at American Store Equipment and 15 years for the Sappi Fine Paper Company prior to his retirement. On October 18, 1952, he married the former Joyce O’Neill in Muskegon. Jack was a member of Wolf Lake Baptist Church and loved to spend his time hunting and fishing. He is survived by his wife, Joyce; 4 children: Jacklyn (Tom) Scraver of Muskegon, Jillene (Steve) Moran of Whitehall, John (Sandy) Way of Grand Rapids, Jim (Shelly) Way of Muskegon; 11 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and a sister, Patsy (Jerry) Sherman. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers: Homer, Merle, Billy, Herbert, Bob, and Max Way. SERVICES for Jack will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at Wolf Lake Baptist Church. VISITATION with the family will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will take place in Egelston Twp. Cemetery. Memorials to the Wolf Lake Baptist Church will be appreciated.
