Jack B. Fialek's Obituary
Mr. Jackie "Jack" B. Fialek, age 68, passed away Tuesday evening at a local hospital following a brief illness. Jack was born in Cloverville, MI on July 27, 1939 to John and Sarah O. (Harris) Fialek. Jackie enjoyed riding horses and was a former member of the 4-H. On March 14, 1959 he married the former Betty Fox. Betty preceded him in death on November 12, 2006. Jack was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene and was an avid outdoorsman, hunter and fisherman. Prior to their retirement, Jack and Betty co-managed Butch?s Shell Station. He is survived by: two daughters, Jackie L. Lane of Cloverville and Diane M (John) LaMadline of Muskegon; three sons, Duane B. Fialek of Longview, TX, James E. Fialek of Dalton Twp and Michael J. (Cyndi) Fialek of Muskegon; six grandchildren, Scott (Melanie), LeWis, Jasmine, Lucas, Sarah and Ashley; great-grandson, Chance; three brothers, John (Betty) Fialek, Jr. of Florida, Richard (Beverly) Fialek of Cloverville and Willard (Betty) Fialek of Branch; sister, Donna (Norb) Motykiewiez of Ludington and mother-in-law, Ada E. Fox of Muskegon. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and Erwin. A memorial service will be held at: 1:00 P.M., Saturday, January 26, 2008, at the First Church of the Nazarene, 1150 W. Seminole Rd., Rev. Randy Murphy officiating. Memorials: Kidney Foundation. The family will begin greeting friends one hour prior to the service.
