Jackelyn Reagan Dupuis' Obituary
Jackelyn Reagan Dupuis, age 75, of Grand Haven passed away Saturday, April 18, 2026, at home. She was born December 26, 1950, in Grand Haven to George Leonard and Helen (Harvey) Waldo. She married Rick James Dupuis on October 29, 1994, in Grand Haven.
Jackelyn graduated from Grand Haven High School, class of 1969. She was Miss Coast Guard in 1970. Jackelyn worked at the Grand Haven Tribune in the advertising department, and went on to be the marketing director for the Coast Guard Festival and Muskegon Summer Celebration Festival. She loved vacations in Jamaica, sailing on their boat “Ricochet” and enjoyed watching old black and white horror movies.
Jackelyn is lovingly remembered by her husband, Rick Dupuis; two sons, Pearce (Ashley) Dupuis, and Geraurd (Mara) Dupuis; three grandchildren: Adalyn, Elaina, and Emma; and two brothers, Mike (Deb) Collett, and Mark (Susan) Densford. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Sandra (Phillip) Hollenbeck, and Elaine (Tom) LaFrance, and her brother, Dale (Helen) Waldo.
A memorial service for Jackelyn will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 9, 2026, at The VanZantwick Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 620 Washington Ave., Grand Haven, MI 49417. Friends may meet the family one hour prior to the memorial service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions to Trinity at Home Hospice are appreciated. Interment will be in Lakeshore Cemetery.
