My name is Jack Harbaugh, I just learned of Jack's passing. We were very close in high school and roomed together at the University of Michigan. My career caused a great distance separation but we did see each other in the summers we visited Petoskey, which was not as often as I would have liked. Jack was a wonderful man who had an impish smile whenever we came into contact - which was often. We had wonderful times working together on the West Michigan MSU Alumni Club board. He clearly had fun in what he did. He spoke fondly of family at all times. I still laugh at the way he told of some of the harrowing adventures in the motor home drive to Alaska.
Jack will be missed.

Karla, I saw the obituary in the paper this morning, Friday 9/26 and read it wondering if it might be your father. I did not know your parents lived in SL as I recently moved back from Fl. I met you back in 71, I was a friend of Bill Kerridge's if you remember. From time to time I think of our summer fun back then. I just wanted to send my condolence's to your family. Your dad sounded like a very cool person and very active as my dad is at 85, who is also a mechanical engineer.
