I just recently heard about Jackie's transition to heaven. I am so very sorry for your loss.
We were childhood friends. We lived across the street from the Zok's on Larch Ave.
I knew Al and Maxine, Tom, Sharon, Jackie and David very well. Jackie and I shared the laughter, poor judgment, challenges, tears, and good times of the teenage years. She was ever the optimist. What an incredible blessing to have had the opportunity to reconnect with Jackie in recent years. Her health and the everyday demands of our busy lives kept us from meeting face to face, but we surely connected heart to heart. We spoke on the telephone a handful of times, and occasionally shared random thoughts on Facebook, but our best connections were our mutual history and the prayers we lifted.

Jackie had a huge heart for both love and faith, so even though my heart is breaking for Bob and the rest of her family, I have a feeling of quiet peace, and an upswelling of joy for her. Jackie has not only been restored to a perfect body by our ultimate healer, but also reunited with loved ones who have passed on before. Until that day that we too are reunited, her example will continue to influence our daily walk.

My prayers will continue to be lifted for all of you.
