Jacqueline "Jackie" L. Carlson's Obituary
Mrs. Jacqueline L. “Jackie” Carlson, age 73, passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at home with her family. She was born on September 9, 1943 in Muskegon to Donald and Agnes (Clement) Brustad, and resided in the area her entire life. Jackie worked for the Department of Human Services for over 20 years, before retiring in 2000. She will be remembered for her creativity, her love of crafts and passion for teaching others about them. On September 28, 1984, she married Ron Carlson and he survives her along with three sons, Eric (Michele) Ringelberg of Muskegon, Heath (Deanna) Ringelberg of Deland, FL, and Jason (Carmen) Carlson of Cedar Springs, MI; six grandchildren, Brittanie (Erik) Bengston, Alexander (A.J.) Ringelberg, Shane and Hunter Ringelberg, and Riley and Blake Carlson; and three sisters, Donna (Tom) Adams of Rockford, MI, Barb (Lou) Albanesi of Lakewood, CO, and Jan Cihacz of Fruitport. Jackie was preceded in death by her parents. A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, March 25 from 5-8 PM in The Lee Chapel Family Center, 6291 S. Harvey St. (231) 798-1100.
