Jacquetta Heflin's Obituary
Mrs. Jacquetta Heflin, age 64, passed away Thursday, November 12, 2009 at her home. She was born March 8, 1945 in Detroit, MI to James and Janie (Bailey) Westbrooks. She married John C. Heflin in Detroit on October 14, 1995. Jacquetta was employed as a Nurse’s Aide at Fairlane Nursing Center in Detroit prior to her illness. She was a member of Ambassadors Church in Muskegon. SURVIVORS include: her husband, John; 5 children, Turhon S. Westbrooks, Zeena Taylor, Dominic E. Henry, Jada C. (Robert) Jackson and Ayana K. Heflin; 2 brothers, James C. (Marlene) Westbrook and Jacquard Westbrook; 12 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Sharon Fussel and a brother, Jeffrey Westbrooks. Mrs. Heflin will be laid to rest at Fort Custer National Cemetery on November 17, 2009. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held Wednesday, 11:00 a.m. November 18, 2009 at The Lee Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 6291 S. Harvey St.(231)798-1100. Rev. Christopher D. Sanford officiating.
