Jacquette A. Lakatos' Obituary
Mrs. Jacquette A. “Jackie” Lakatos, age 91, passed away Monday, April 22, 2019 in Muskegon. She was born in Muskegon on January 31, 1928 to Walter T. and Jacquette (Good) Moore. She had been employed by Misco (Howmet) prior to her retirement. On November 27, 1948, Jackie married Peter Lakatos and they were long-time Fruitport residents. After retirement, they moved to North Fort Myers, Florida where they lived for 30 years. Jackie enjoyed golfing, cards, and daily walks. She will be remembered for her playful personality. She will be missed by her children, Peter (Janine) Lakatos of Byron Center and Carla (Tom) Jasick of Ravenna; three grandchildren, Troy (Lisa) Jasick, Lisa (Ross) Spyke, Ryan (Fallon) Lakatos; five great-grandchildren, Caden, Andrew, Garrett, Lexi, Dylan; and sister, Waneta Homan. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Peter, her parents, and three brothers. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be 11:00 AM Monday, May 6, 2019 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., 231-798-1100 with Rev. Joe Galy officiating. VISITATION will be one hour prior to her service. MEMORIALS in Jackie’s memory may be directed to American Heart Association or Hospice of Michigan.
