James C. Adams' Obituary
James C. Adams, age 95, passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2017. He was born on December 16, 1921 to David and Mabel (Ward) Adams in Arkansas. In July of 1945 he married the love of his life, the former Genevieve Smith, and they spent a happy life together until her passing in 1999. James worked for Shaw Walker for 30 plus years until his retirement in 1983. James enjoyed going to Lake Michigan and taking his camper out on trips. Survivors include his children, Linda (Ron) Bohland, Brenda (James) Mylenek, Tracy (Jennifer) Adams; grandchildren, Amy, Lindsay (Ben), Ryan (Ally), Trevor, Meghan; great-grandchildren, Ashlee, Barrett and Owen. He was preceded in death by his parents; spouse, Genevieve; siblings, Frank Adams, Ernest Adams and Bessie Galbreath. A FUNERAL SERVICE for James will take place on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at 3:00 PM at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St. (231-798-1100).
