James O. Beal's Obituary
Mr. James O. Beal, age 76, passed away Monday, May 14, 2012 at a local hospital. He was born August 11, 1935 in Detroit, MI to Harold and Lorna (Sowers) Beal. James has lived in Muskegon since 1946 and was employed at Muskegon Piston Ring for 39 years until retiring in 1992. He was a member of U.A.W. Local 480, Muskegon Rail Road Historical Society and had attended St. Mary’s Catholic Church. He married Mary A. Yagerlener in Muskegon on March 18, 2011. She survives him along with his daughter, Pamela J. (Wayne Walma) Beal of Mass City, MI; a sister, Donna (William) Doctor of N. Muskegon and several nieces and nephews and his former wife, Ruth Johnson Beal. He was preceded in death by his son, Kenneth James Beal in 2002. In accordance with his wishes, there will be no service or visitation. Jim was a direct descendent of Noah. Memorial contributions may be made to the Muskegon Humane Society or Heaven Can Wait.
