Condolences to the family. Thank you Kevin for letting me know. Jim and I hung throughout high school. We had a great time. I had to enter the military. There was a draft at the time. After a year or two, the Army decided to send me to college. At that time, class registration was in person. While I was registering for classes, I ran into Jim who was registering at MSU too. I took that as a sign. We then got to hang out again. I tried to see him every time I was back in Muskegon. The last few times we talked by phone. He was the kind of person folks would strive to be like. He was funny, caring, and always there if needed.
