James R. Boles Sr.'s Obituary
Mr. James R. Boles Sr., age 82, passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2017 in Muskegon. He was born on March 4, 1935 in Muskegon to Arthur and Sophia (Kwolek) Boles. Jim married Marilyn Smith on September 14, 1957 and retired from Campbell Wyant and Cannon after 30 years of employment. He was a lifelong member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and was a proud veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. Jim was an avid gardener, enjoyed wildlife, motorcycles and camping; but most of all, he enjoyed the time spent with his family. SURVIVORS include his loving wife of 59 years, Marilyn; children, Cindy (Gary) Wolters, James (Laurie) Boles Jr., Tammy (Dan Morse) Boles and Jamie (Mike Daniels) Boles; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Rosalie (Richard) Rebedew; and special friends, Paul Vargo, Bea Stibitz and George Perysian. Jim was preceded in death by his brother, Francis. The MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be held on 11 AM Monday, May 15, 2017, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 150 E. Summit Ave. with Rev. Fr. Antony Britto presiding. VISITATION will be held at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., from 2-4 PM on Sunday, with the Rosary being prayed at 2 PM. Burial will take place at Mona View Cemetery.
