James K. "Jim" Boone's Obituary
James K. “Jim” Boone, age 64, passed away very suddenly on Sunday, December 1, 2019 at his home. He was born May 9, 1955 in Muskegon to Kenneth and Mary (Allard) Boone. Jim had currently worked as a machinist for Shape Corp. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Grand Haven. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Survivors include his son, Cody Boone of Spring Lake; his mother, Mary Boone of Muskegon; 1 brother, Dave (Janet) Boone of Norton Shores; 1 sister, Janet Girarden of Muskegon; nieces and nephews, Heather Boone, Christopher (Rebecca) Boone, Ryan (Erin) Boone, and Chris (Dan) Dawson. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Boone. A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, December 6, 2019 at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 Harvey St, Norton Shores, MI 49444 with Rev. Fr. Charles Schwartz presiding. Visitation will be held 5-7 PM Thursday and one hour prior to the service on Friday. Memorial Contributions may be directed to St. Patrick-St. Anthony Catholic Parish.
