James V. Bott's Obituary
Mr. James Valentine Bott, age 90, passed away Sunday, December 7, 2014 in Muskegon. He was born March 4, 1924 in Remus, MI to Urban and Alice (Gietzen) Bott. Jim worked over 40 years for General Motors in Lansing before retiring. Jim’s daughter-in-law, Sue and her family lovingly cared for him and his second wife Fran for many years. His cat “Bubbles” was his faithful companion. SURVIVORS include 3 children: Victor (Susan) Bergquist, John (AeYoung) Bergquist, and Jimmy Bott and his family; 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 4 brothers: Max (Marty) Bott, Arnie (Joan) Bott, Tom (Mary Lynn) Bott, Joe (Sandy) Bott; and sister, Doreen (Andy) Doerr. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Martha and second wife, Fran. Burial will take place in St. Michaels Catholic Cemetery in Remus, MI at a later date.
