Mr. James C. Carty's Obituary
Mr. James C. “Jim” Carty, age 64, passed away Thursday afternoon, June 28, 2012. He was born April 28, 1948 in Manistee, MI to Donald and Marvel (Thorson) Carty. Mr. Carty was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam Era and had worked at Amstore Corporation for 30 years. He was also a member of Resurrection Life. On August 1, 1998 he married the former Constance M. “Connie” Ellison in Muskegon and she preceded him in death on August23, 2011. He is survived by 3 step-children, Michael (Donna) Flanery, Robin Marie (Dan) Robinson both of Muskegon, Lorie (Jeff) Holt of Twin Lake; and 2 grandchildren, Peter and Brooke Holt; brother, Tom (Patricia) Carty of North Muskegon; 2 sisters, Donna (Chuck) McManus of Muskegon, Sue Fitch of California; several nieces and nephews. He will also be sorely missed by all of his animals. He was also preceded in death by his nephew, Tommy Carty. A PRIVATE FAMILY SERVICE will be held at a later date.
