Dr. James S. DeHudy's Obituary
Dr. James S. DeHudy, age 74, passed away Friday, December 9, 2022. Born October 14, 1948 to Stephen and Senzi (Schwarz) DeHudy, he was a lifetime resident of the Muskegon area. Jim attended the University of Michigan for undergraduate studies and dental school; he was a true lifelong learner. He took immense pride in serving his community as a local dentist for over 40 years. Jim will be remembered as an avid Wolverine fan who was always on a quest to find the perfect craft beer. He loved music, gardening, Lake Michigan sunsets, and blueberry picking with his family. A beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend, he will be dearly missed.
Jim is survived by his wife of 43 years, Gail (Kageff) DeHudy, daughter Ashely DeHudy, her husband Owen, and their two sons; brother, Thomas DeHudy, his wife Denise Lane and their two sons; and sister, Darlene DeHudy. Jim was preceded in death by his parents; and brother-in-law, Jim Lemmen.
