Patricia and Vernon Foster, England: Jim was always the perfect host during Patricias visits to see her cousin Mary. Nothing was too much trouble for him and we enjoyed many Orchard View trips together. Love and sympathy to Mary, his wife, and all the extended family we came to know during our visits to Ravenna over the past few years. Our thoughts are with everyone in the family who always made us welcome and especially with Mary and thankful for the time we spent together just 15 months ago. Love from Patricia, Vernon, son Paul, daughter and son-in law Jane and Martin Bowen in England.
Janet, Bill and family - We want to extend our sympathy to your whole family. Your family has always been special to us and we know all of your hearts are hurting during this time of loss. You will all be in our thoughts and prayers. God Bless. Love - Chuck and Gail
Our hearts are saddened for Jeannie and Julie, as well as the entire family, in the loss of their dad. We especially loved those Sundays when he joined us in worship, as he took residence in that back pew. He had a hearty handshake and a warm smile! He was a bright spot in the lives of many! We know that he will be dearly missed and we pray that you sense the loving embrace of our Comforter, Jesus Christ, at this time and the days ahead.
Jim, I am very proud to have been able to call you my Father in Law, you were a real gentleman and I loved you dearly. You cared for each and everyone who knew and were always cheerful.
Rest In Peace Jim, I will miss talking with you. xxx
His passing will leave a big hole in the lives of many. What a beautiful example of what a grandpa should be.
