Mr. James William Fox's Obituary
Mr. James William Fox, age 85, passed away on Friday, July 6, 2018. He was born on February 5, 1933 to William and Alma (Dunnavent) Fox in Martin, TN. Jim worked as a quality control engineer for Sealed Power for 27 years before retiring in 1993. On September 24, 1954, Jim married the love of his life, the former Annette Baker in Muskegon. Jim and Annette were members of Crestwood United Methodist Church, where Jim had been a Sunday School teacher. He was also associated with American Foundry Men’s Society, serving as a former president of the Muskegon chapter. Jim was known as being kind, patient and loving. He was a fabulous father, grandfather and role model. Jim will be deeply missed by his wife of 63 years, Annette; children, Barbara (John) Cotie, Linda (Dan) Cwynar and James (Mona) Fox; grandchildren, John Cotie, Laura Cotie, Russell (Marjorie) Clark, Jason (Caitlin) Clark, Tandra Fox, Teresa (Tyrone) Price and Danielle (Mike) Davis; 8 great-grandchildren; and brother-in-law, Kent Baker. He was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Sandra Kay; parents; sisters, Connie Daniels and Dorothy Rossi; brother-in-law, Raymond Baker; and sister-in-law, Shirley Baker-Kison. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, July 10 at 2PM at Crestwood United Methodist Church (1220 Creston St., 49442). Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the service from 1-2PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Crestwood United Methodist Church or Hospice of Michigan. Burial will take place at Laketon Township Cemetery.
