James Raymond Goodman's Obituary
Mr. James Raymond “Bug” Goodman, age 57, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at his home in Whitehall. He was born in Muskegon, Michigan on December 18, 1959 to James K. and Jeanette (Dennison) Goodman. Bug graduated from Orchard View High School, class of 1978, where he excelled in sports. He had been employed by the International Brotherhood of Painters and Allied Trades for over 25 years before his retirement in 2009. Bug was a member of the Moose Lodge #1570. He enjoyed music, crossword puzzles, and camping; especially at the family property near Irons, Michigan. On April 21, 1979, Bug married the former Roberta L. Wood in Muskegon and she survives him along with his parents, James and Jeanette Goodman; three sisters, Cathy (William) Ensign, Brenda (Dan Anderson) Goodman and Laura (Greg) Dyga; aunts and uncles, Jen and Doug Harmsen, Carol (Zeke) McIntyre and Charles and Donna Goodman; several loving nieces and nephews; many dear friends; two faithful dogs, Jewelray and Crystal Blue and his beloved cat, QT. A CELEBRATION OF HIS LIFE will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at First Evangelical Lutheran Church (1206 Whitehall Road, North Muskegon 49445) with Rev. William Uetricht officiating. VISITATION will be one hour prior to his service.
