Mr. James Lee Goughler's Obituary
Mr. James Lee Goughler, age 81, passed away Wednesday afternoon, July 11, 2018. Jim was born February 16, 1937 in Muskegon to Walter and Martha (Sabin) Goughler. He married the former Rose Draper on June 21, 1987, and she survives him. Jim was a truck driver for over 45 years, retiring in 2002. He drove for Michigan Milk, Mayflower, and Oilways-Wagner. He also managed the Roosevelt Park Apartments from 1990-2015. Jim was a big NASCAR fan and enjoyed camping and horse shoes with the boys and his brothers. In addition to Rose, his wife of 31 years, Jim is survived by his children, Bernard G. (Cheryl) Ketchum and Steven (Cyndi Chancellor) Ketchum, all of Muskegon; grandchildren, Brian Ketchum, Kristy Ketchum, Alexis Ketchum, and Tyler Ketchum; a brother, William (Brenda) Goughler of Hart; 2 sisters, Betty Harris of Muskegon and Vaughn Raddatz of Grand Rapids; and several nieces and nephews. Jim was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Eileen Schultz. A MEMORIAL LUNCHEON will be held from Noon until 2 pm, August 4, 2018 at The Lithuanian Club, 2152 Ninth St. Memorial Contributions may be made to Victory Junction or The Alzheimer’s Association.
