I just met Jim when he and Lori moved back to Michigan. I can honestly say that I am so grateful that God gave me this short time with him. He was a great man and we always talked about our Dutch ancestry. He always said, "if you ain't dutch you ain't much!" I will miss you dearly my friend but I will hold onto the comfort of knowing that one day we will be reunited in heaven. Love you Jim.

Jim loved taco salad, green chili and smoking anything he could. He knew I hated green chili but would never fail to tell me on the phone that he's got some for me and ask me when I'm making him some taco salad? So I made him taco salad when they moved back to Michigan and he smoked an awesome brisket for us. Lots of other great memories too. We'll surely miss him ❤️
Too many memories to choose from and I have been thinking of the all this week. I want to say Dad you will always be the first man I ever loved and I will be missing you till I can see you again!
I remember delivering a meal and Jim and I spent probably 15 minutes at least, sharing our Jesus with one another. We hugged and cried a little. I'll miss you Jim.
My best memories with Jim are the rides.....on the snowmobile when he lived in MI and on the Harley when he lived in New Mexico. Precious memories! See you when Jesus comes bro!
