James Paul Kolker's Obituary
Mr. James “Jim” Paul Kolker, age 71, passed away Tuesday morning at the Poppen Residence. He was born October 21, 1941 in Dayton, OH to Carl and Rita (Litkowski) Kolker and lived most of his life in the Muskegon area. Jim worked 28 years for Sealed Power/Hi-Lift Division as an electrician and retired in 2003. He married the former Sharon K. Nielsen on September 24, 1946 in Muskegon Heights and she survives him. Jim was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was a very active long-time member of the Mona Lake Boating Club. SURVIVORS include his wife, Sharon; 3 children, John Kolker of Muskegon, Wendy (Kyle) VanderWal of Muskegon, Dawn Speck of Rockford; 4 grandchildren, Kyle Scott, Kaleb, Haley and Ashley; and his siblings, Ray, William, Larry, Connie, Janice and Donna.
